Big place: Two bedrooms, separate dining room, washing machine in a large bathroom. Take out from the gyro place a couple of blocks away was great value. Close to subway … although we walked a lot and enjoyed Athens.

I had a wonderful stay! The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and fully equipped with everything you might need. The balcony is a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee. The area feels very safe and is conveniently located near public transportation and the airport bus. I felt completely comfortable and secure throughout my stay.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. It is situated in a nice area, 5 mins from the metro. Coffee, tea and sugar were provided. Fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and coffee pods provided. The bed and duvet were very comfortable. However, I was not greeted upon arrival or given any instructions as to how things worked. I had not been informed which apartment I would be staying in. I had to Viber the owner as and when to get this information.

Great area, which also felt safe. Grocery stores are close, pastry shops, kiosks, restaurants galore. Easy access to the metro and busses. Appartment it's self was perfect for our stay.

The apartment is at an excellent location. A few minutes walk to subway station. The apartment is clean. It is good to have a kitchen and a washer. We had some trouble with establishing communication with the owner through the hotel.com app. We sent a message about check in instructions and did not get a response after three days. They did respond to our second message and ask us for our email address for giving checkin instructions. After establishing the initial communication, the owner was very responsive to our questions and issues. So make sure to the owner early.

We arrived by train. The 7min walk from the station to the apartment was so easy. We was shown around the apartment and all the appliances and amenities we needed to know about, everything was covered. There was dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid provided. Some basic cupboard essentials eg sugar, salt, pepper, spices, tea and coffee. The same for the laundry tablets for the machine, toiletries and towels was also included. The rooms in the apartment were excellent the living room was very spacious with a tv. The double bedroom had more than enough storage space. The twin single bedroom with the balcony was my favourite room. The roof top terrace was a nice space two levels although the level right on top was harder to reach if your a little unsteady on your feet. The hot tub wasn't available but would have been great for after the marathon. The location of this apartment was exceptional and the local area for food drinks and cafes without having to go far.

Greg was really helpful throughout the experience, answering any questions by email or phone. His housekeeper was lovely and showed us around as well as looking after luggage on the last day. The apartment was spacious, extremely clean with everything we could need! One of the best bits has to be the rood terrace. It is in two parts, a lower section which you reach by the lift (which is not for the claustrophobic) and the upper part which you can reach by a spiral metal staircase or a ladder. Both seem terrifying as I am scare of heights, but TOTALLY worth it. We ate up there the first night and the view is amazing. You can see across the whole of Athens with a perfect view of the acropolis which looks incredible as the sun goes down and it starts to be lit up, like a glowing beacon. I would highly recommend staying here. It is also close to a metro stop which has direct links to the airport (cheaper than the fixed rate taxi fee) and easy links into the centre (2 stops to the acropolis). There is a supermarket just a 5-10min walk away and the neighbourhood has a number of lovely bakeries, cafes and restaurants including a wine bar called "Uptopia" which does amazing cocktails. Despite that noise wasn't a problem and we were on the first floor. Stay here if you can :)

The apartment was perfect for our needs, very clean and comfortable. Wasn't very central but close enough to walk to Syntagma Square, the Acropolis etc. unless you have mobility issues. The metro is very close as are buses. A lovely haven to return to at the end of a busy day.

We stayed during the week between Christmas and New Year's Day. This location proved to be convenient and quiet - close to the tourist areas but not crowded or noisy. About a 10-15 minute walk from the shops and restaurants around Syntagma Square (faster by metro and there is a metro stop very closeby). The place has nearly everything one would need to feel like they're home. Our host even had cookies, bottled water and orange juice for us upon our arrival. The small but well-equipped kitchen afforded us an opportunity to do a little cooking. Also, as the place has a washer/dryer unit, we were able to do a little laundry. The rooftop terrace gave us a great view of the Parthenon - we were able to see the fireworks display on New Year's Eve.
