    Had booked three premium rooms for my stay of 3 nights in Gangtok. The rooms provided had bad odour, while One of the rooms provided was inhabitable by any means. The wooden flooring was oozing out smelly water upon stepping inside the room. It had terrible stench. On pointing this out to the hotel manager, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked and we had no option but to stay in this room for that night. They would try to change the room next day as per availability. They put towels all over the wooden flooring, sprayed room freshner and put up a pedestal fan to somehow reduce the stench. It was a horrible experience to spend a night in that room. Next day we were shifted to a family room which was in the basement with no window, no exhaust or ventilation and same damp wooden flooring oozing out water on walking over. I feel hotel was not managed professionally. I feel the hotel could be managed more professionally with proper inspections and maintenance. If some of the rooms are found inhabitable, they should not ve offered for booking till their maintenance is completed.
