Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata - All Inclusive

To start, the resort was an amazing experience. This hotel is a great place to relax. The cons: The front desk service needs improvement. The customer service is lacking, there are very few people at the front desk at all times. Some of the staff were not nice and it felt like they would ignore you sometimes. Others were better with their service, but still there is little coverage at front desk at any hour. For the rooms: We had some issues with water leaking from the ceiling. The TVs weren’t really functioning (but we rarely were using them anyway). The cleanliness was okay not the best. The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty. Never lacked towels or soap. Another con: Way too many salespeople trying to sell timeshares. It was more than I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Pros: Employees were always friendly and quick to help with anything. The food is delicious , especially the buffet. Absolutely exceptional. Drinks were well served. I would say this is one of the most comfortable and relaxing resort experiences I’ve had. You can really sit down and relax for the most part. Other than the front desk service, I’d say this is a great choice for anyone wanting to have a laid back vacation/stay.

The only issue the elevator was not working and i stayed in the 4 floor

I had a really good experience staying at Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata. The hotel has a beautiful location right by the beach, and the overall atmosphere is lively and fun. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, even though some areas of the resort feel a bit outdated. The pools and common areas were well maintained, and there were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The food had a good variety, especially at the buffet and restaurants, although some dishes could be better. One of the best parts was how clean everything was and how convenient the location is near Playa Dorada. Overall, it’s a great option for a fun and affordable all-inclusive vacation. Not perfect, but definitely worth it for the price and experience!
