Very welcoming and comfy lounge area

The staff were awesome and incredibly helpful. Room was ready before check-in, quite the pleasant surprise. Staff went above and beyond with being available and setting up breakfast. Handy storage room for ski gear and hot wax available for snowboard/ skis at a reasonable price. My board looks great! Rooms could use some love but the bed/ pillows/ blankets made for a restful sleep.

This is a hostel type arrangement.....I guess one could call it a hotel. It has a big common area great for meeting people, having a BEvERage, a good kitchen and the owners/ staff are very kind and accommodating. They are doing some renos with respect to the shower and toilet areas which is warranted. My room was clean, but could use a bit of a spruce up (i.e. only one receptacle plug worked, no towel rack in the bathroom), but that is minor. Overall, you get what you pay for (good value) and the owner and his wife are fine people.

It was an excellent stay. The staff and owner were super accomodating, couldnt have been nicer. Its super nice and comfy inside, with good facilities for drying gear and storing boards. The location being right next to the bus stop makes it one of the best locations in Hakuba. This is top choice accomodation if you want to snowboard in Hakuba.
