I’m not a picky traveler. That being said, the location of this hotel was ideal as I only went to Iho Taewoo beach for surfing during the day and ventured little really. I rode an e-bike to the beach, which was a lot cheaper than taking a cab. When I needed to travel far for yoga classes, I took a cab which was easy to call for and grab. One downside to their location is the little variety of restaurants - but if you walk down the street to the right (away from the beach) you’ll find some, albeit not recommended for solo travelers.. (they’re the sort of restaurants geared to welcome big groups. Once I got a takeaway from one of them and turned out their portion was WAY too big for me to finish even over two meals, though it was meant to be a one-person meal.) There’s an aesthetic, humongous cafe right down the street, with ceiling-to-floor windows that make it perfect for silent viewing of the view across. The hotel has a convenient store on the first floor. A pharmacy is easily found within 10-minute walk. Staff was laid back, which I appreciated in a weird way lol chill ajussis at the front desk, and the clean staff was nice and kind whenever I ran into them in the afternoon. One thing I have to say though, is once I spilled a box of blueberries in the washroom and some rolled over under the sink. I could have squatted and scooped them but I didn’t. And yeah they stayed there till my stay was over lol meaning the clean staff didn’t bother to clean that area. I hope they did after I left as they were fresh berries 💀 If you’re looking for a reasonable stay near the aforementioned beach or a base from which you’ll travel far, I see no reason why not! As simple and basic as they come. I’ll prolly return to this place in the future.

Stayed 1 night near the airport. Staff is friendly. Lobby has a CVS store. Has car parking behind. Easy walk to the busier part of the area for eateries.

One star is not low enough. Called ahead to advise late arrival due to airline delay. Arrived and experienced terrible experience staff professionalism. Supposed to be non-smoking but smoking smell evident throughout building. They tried to cover up the smell with some fragrance but made it worse. Same smell in the assigned room. Went to front desk and the response attitude was "So What." Went down to Lobby early next morning and found the one staff sleeping on the couch in the lobby. He did not bother to acknowledge my presence and kept on sleeping. Location of the property was acceptable.
