It seems this was renovated recently but it still looks a bit old. The room was spacious, but weirdly organized. The dinner buffet is alright, but the breakfast buffet is really below average. The onsen is solid.

スタッフは丁寧で親切、ビュッフェも色々種類があり新鮮でとても美味しかったです。朝、まどの外を見たら、お猿さんが外に座っていて、とても可愛かったです。コテージは階段が急なので、高齢の方や足の悪い方々にはオススメできません。ホテルのほうに泊まった方が楽に移動できます。

Old facility. Too many people in the restraint so we couldn’t move at all

This hotel location is situated high on the mountain. The hotel ambient is nice, however the room needs major refurblishment. We stayed in a duplex suite room 100sqm, the room has good size kitchen but no kitchen utensils. No pot, plates or even silverware. There are many tourist group which is loud and no etiquette. The buffet breakfast and dinner was plain and repetitive menu for 3 days during our stay.No egg station for breakfast. A bit disappionted for the buffet menu and quality of food. We complained during our stay however management did not approve for any changes in the menu. Ok, if you look for a Japanese ambient, stay away from this hotel. The only positive things are room with good size, staffs are attentive and parking place is welll allocated we did not use onsen as we saw amount of tourists, onsen attire are old and not in good condition.
