Comfortable stay , lovely walled city. Not as busy in October which is what we were looking for, easy walk to restaurants and the beach. Friendly people. Comfy bed .. we wanted a sea view so the room was on the top floor - there is a small lift so not too bad .. would definitely return

Friendly and helpful staff, but interior needs a bit of maintenance. The curtain had tears in it from being exposed to the sun for years and degrading over time. Stains in the hallway carpet. Room was clean and in a great location though.

This was the final night of our short holiday in France, booking close to the ferry for a quick getaway the following day. There was a parking challenge which was not a surprise given the reality of the walled city. The hotel advertised a parking facility which was not available but public parking was nearby outside the city and worked well. The hotel is small with creative use of space for the small room - would be a challenge for people with a larger personal body shape! It worked well for us and the hotel staff were friendly.

The hotel was very well located and well maintained but the bathroom was really too small to be comfortable. We considered having breakfast there but the breakfast area was very unimpressive so we preferred to go to nearby cafes instead.

Be prepared for the tiniest bathroom ever! The room was ok for one night but if you are staying longer try something else. Price was very good for an intramuros hotel and it was most certainly due to the limited space provided. Mattress was too soft and gave us a stiff neck in the morning; when I looked into the bathroom, thought I wouldn't fit under the shower. As I said, Saint Malo is quite an expensive destination, so don't expect for much for less than three digits.

Hotel is in a good location and the staff member we met was pleasant. Surprisingly the room and bathroom were both very clean but that is all that can be said about it. Rooms are very small and with having some bars close it can get noisy on a weekend until 2.00am, then you have the cleaners/bin men 4.00ish. The breakfast is small and will not having a proper dinning room it can get busy with guests checking out. I have stayed in the walls of St Malo many times and will not be staying at this hotel again.

Small yet welcoming hotel close to a restaurant and pub but quieter than staying in the centre of the walled city. Very close to Plage de Bon Secours which was handy as I could leave all my valuables (money/telephone etc) locked in my hotel room. I was a solo traveller so was I opted for the slightly cheaper single room. It had a full size double bed which was a bonus and it was perfectly comfortable for a 1-2 night stay. My window opened onto a private courtyard so the general noise of the city was much less intrusive than other intra-muros hotels I have stayed in. They let me (and another cyclist) leave our bikes locked up in the reception area which was welcome security. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is excellent value for money. Rooms are very clean and the breakfast is very good value compared to similar offerings in town. The location is perfect: very close to the beach and situated in the old town. Staff are very welcoming and obliging. Would wholeheartedly recommend it.

We just had 1 night, easy booking we needed late arrival emailed the hotel and all arranged with no fuss. Very clean, room on small side but for 1 or 2 nights would definitely go back service is good and great location. Breakfasts a lityle pricey for what you get though.
