    Very disappointing experience at Vivanta Guwahati. For a hotel charging premium rates, the facilities are surprisingly outdated. The shower in our room was very old, and the hot and cold water mixer barely worked properly. We had to ask for a room change, but unfortunately the issue remained the same in the new room as well. While the staff apologised and mentioned that renovation plans are underway, that does not really help guests paying such high room rates right now. At this price point, basic comfort and properly functioning bathroom facilities should be expected. I had previously stayed at Vivanta Meghalaya, Shillong, and found their facilities and pricing far more justified. Compared to that experience, Vivanta Guwahati was poor value for money.
