I was extremely disappointed with this apartment and with the service provided by ITALIANWAY. I had several problems during my stay: there was no hot water due to an issue with the heating system; the next day, the power went out at night, and no one came to fix it — I had to deal with the electrical panel myself to solve the problem. Another night, they changed the gate access system to the building without notice, and I had to wait more than 30 minutes outside until a resident arrived so I could get in. There was zero assistance for urgent issues that needed immediate attention. I’ve been waiting for a refund for almost 30 days, and they still haven’t processed it. I do not recommend this place, and I hope anyone reading this review makes a better choice.

If you’re reading this, there’s still time. Don’t be fooled by the nice location and misleading photos. I wouldn’t even know how the inside of the hotel looked because we were locked out of our room. Check-in is something I have never seen before as there is not a physical person, and you have to go on a scavenger hunt just to find the key. To enter the building, you have to scan a QR code. However, to access that QR code, you have to fill out a bunch of information, and they ask for your passports and a tourist tax. We were locked out of the hotel for 3 hours. Within 30 minutes of being locked out, we emailed the hotel. They were no help and sent us to a different location after 3 hours. We finally got into a room. We then finally decided to contact Expedia. They then put us in another room which was bug infested and had a water heater that was so loud and never let us sleep. In the shower there were bugs everywhere, cockroaches in the bed, everywhere! and water couldn’t stay hot. Italian way apartments/hotels offered no compensation for these issues.

I left not even 30 minutes after entering the apartment because it looked nothing like the pictures and smelled so strongly of cigarettes that it gave me a migraine. Also in a sketchy area. Do not stay here.

In Expedia says that have air conditioning, only one room has it, everything else is a sauna, in Milan now is 31 C, inside that room was around 37 C! We contact the property and not response at all! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Great location and access to the city with public transport. The streets surrounding were a vibrant mixture of restaurants and bars too

It was one of the worst check-ins I ever had. First, you had to go online on a different website for check-in. There you have to sign a contract with so many pages that starts to freak you out. You also have to pay the visitor tax on this website (you have no idea if it’s a safe one) and upload a pic of yourself and whoever is traveling with holding the passport (I don’t know what they do with that photo cause the GDPR thing didn’t mention). The communication via chat is terrible, I texted 3x but only got one reply. 2h before my check-in I have not received the code to enter in the apt. I had to call them to ask for the check-in info (costumer service hub; international call) and they said they normally send it at the exact time of the check-in (3pm), but they would send me at that time because it was ready. There are so many instructions for so many things that you get lost and insecure. When we arrived, a resident had to help us get in because there’s no indication to where to use the qr code (a small white box with no signs or anything). The apartment is in great condition, is really complete and clean and the neighborhood is nice, but really loud in the evening because it is a bohemian region with loads of bars. The location is really good, with many options to eat and transportation in a walking distance. But unfortunately, because of the check-in process and contract we had to sign, we didn’t feel comfortable and afraid they might charge us for something we didn’t do.

Once in the property, it had everything we needed. It was clean and well kept. Our main issue was the check-in process - i did not receive the email with the QR code and code for the flat, had to phone multiple times and in the end had to get it sent to my partners email. Once we received the QR code, it was then a mission to figure out the QR scanner. For future reference, it is a white box on the wall to the right of the door off the street.

We absolutely loved our stay! I admit i was a made a bit nervous, by all the coments about how difficult the check in process was and the problems people were having with the QR codes to access the building. But i am happy to say we had no issues. However the online checking form and the contract you have to sign are a bit too much! Regardless, the flat we stayed wes really nuce and clean and the area is great: central, modern, you have so many dining and shopping options and easy transport links within a short walling distance!

This is an awful apartment. THE MOST DIRTY ACCOMODATION I HAVE EVER SEEN ! PAID FOR 4PEOPLE AN APARTAMENT WITH 2 BEDS AND WE HAD A BED AND A BROKEN COUCH. THE WHOLE APARTMENT WAS DIRTY AND FULL OF ROACHES ! THE ROACHES WERE CRAWLING ALL OVER THE WHOLE APARTMENT AND IF YOU TURNED ON THE LIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT YOU COULD SEE HUNDREDS OF THEM.

The apartment was cute, but I wish that it was closer to a more convenient area. It was a little confusing getting in, even though they did try to communicate through What’s App how to get in. Parking was limited and we got lucky one time reparking. There was only one restaurant that was actually open on the street.it was quiet though!

I stayed here with my mum for 5 days and we really loved it! Check in was easy, apartment was great, location was perfect, and it was super clean. Only 2 things that I didn’t love: Not enough towels for 5 days - we got 2 per person and there were no tea towels in the kitchen. Though, it was overall very clean and neat, I walked around with white socks and they were imminently dirty. Other than that it was very lovely :)

It was a clean and simple apartment. The only two things are: the washing machine didn’t work and there was a strange smell each time I flushed the toilet. The Italianway team immediately send someone over with a room neutralizer spray. ( Apparently the pipes were old and needed to get checked out after my stay).

Me and my friend came to Milan and stayed in this apartment for two nights! Prefer this to a hotel! everything was also very central and a lot of good shopping opportunities and bars and restaurants!

The check in experience was bad, no one is on site to ask about anything. They don’t work weekends, and check in is complicated. The room was dusty and floors where dirty. Washing machine doesn’t work well, no one will clean your room during your stay, no signs as tho where you have to go for your room.

The apartment was perfect and in a fantastic location - the checking in was a little frustrating as I had not realised the process was that we would need entry codes - but it did all get sorted very quickly.
