I was upgraded upon arrival during a rainstorm traveling alone with my 5 year old. The lady was so kind. The room was perfect for traveling with/without kids. Bed was cozy, room clean, dishes all spotless with all the amenities one needs. Soap, paper towel, coffee, real cups, pots, utensils. Nautical theme in the room was super cute. Ocean view was beautiful. Deck to sit on very nice. The walk was too far for my 5 year old to get to the busy strip with shops but parking was cheap and easy to find. I did like that it was away from the chaos but close enough for fun. Arcade was very close. The main road/shopping is a one way and a separate road behind the main road takes you back. Hotels are located along the main road/ocean Or on the road behind the main road that goes in the opposite direction. Like a giant one way circle . I contemplated staying on the road behind the main road because it was closer to walk straight through to the main road without having to drive or pay for parking and I’m glad with my decision not to do that. It’s very busy in the main areas and the extra .4 of a mile away from the shops makes it a beautiful beach spot best of both worlds. An electric bike or stroller would make it even better/easier. I have stayed in many hotels with our daughter and this one was one if my favorites! Room 10! The parking spots for the hotel are directly in front of the building making it easy to come and go. CVS 4 min away. Grocery stores 7 min.
