Very comfortable and cozy with a lovely setup. The smart tv was a nice touch but struggled to stay connected to the internet and there werent any kids shows on the basic channels for when we were indoors. Only other issue was that every little sound was amplified immenselly whether it was outside or in

Very disappointing motel. Unit was not clean including the cutlery. Kitchen cabinet needed maintenance done. Rubbish bin in bathroom hadn’t been emptied and still hadn’t when I left 2 days later. Unit looked tried and in need of renovations. Staff not very helpful. Generally disappointing

Really enjoy staying at this motor lodge, hot water is instant, clean, comfortable beds and fairly warm without needing a heater, highly recommended if you are needing a stay in the far far north, plus they supply hand wash, shampoo and body wash

We didn't like that there was no air-conditioning and no security screens and the door could be easily unlocked by accessing an opened window. The mattress was way too soft

The rooms were clean, no air-conditioning but 2 fans which worked a treat. The welcome at reception was non existent along with any volunteered information, too hot for spa! no laundry facilities but still listed on hotels.com also very confusing re parking as on hotel.com no parking but as soon book parking is included!

Amazing stay, love the owners dog Sunday who is the resident pet for everyone who stays. Very clean and welcoming. Spacious and has all amenities from stove top, fridge, microwave and toasters... so if you dont want to hunt for dinner on the main street you can cook for your own (warning Sunday will come visit you for a sneaky snack)

The property is old and mutton dressed up as lamb . Very poor WiFi could not even use it only 1 bar and speed rating would not even connect. Didn’t supply any fresh milk and was told if we wanted milk for our morning coffee needed to walk down to the local shops and buy our own . The shower was very slippery and no slip mat was provided very dangerous as my wife is partially disabled and had problems stepping into it . The only positive we have for the place was the warm blanket on the bed otherwise it has been the worst place we have stayed so far

Impeccably clean, if somewhat quaint small motel in the north. Minimal sound or thermal insulation, a good heater is bolted to the wall in the kitchen/lounge area but not the bedroom. In mid July that could be a problem. Traffic noise from 5am so you won’t need an alarm clock. Good well appointed kitchenette and bathroom. A small column heater to take the chill from the bedroom would be ideal. Otherwise good for its price class and location.

I stay at this location every year for a night or 2 when visiting family who live a short walk away. The owners are always friendly and have often gone above and beyond. They provide a satisfactory and convenient location, supplying the basics needed and recommend for families, especially if needing privacy.

We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed our it. The room was very comfortable and it was very convenient with the main bedroom and the lounge also having a bed. The kitchen and bathroom were also of a good standard. Although the motel was close to the main road little noise could be heard. There was a pool which we didn’t have time to use but we did use the children’s swings and the large garden. The motel is also very close to a supermarket. Overall we were impressed with this motel and would definitely stay here again
