It is a little ran down, but the location and staff compensate for that more than enough. Cleanliness was ok too.
The breakfast service is excellent. Lots of space, you can possibly find a quiet spot to enjoy your meal. Good selection as well - a breakfast at a good Brazilian hotel is hard to beat!
About the “soundproof” rooms, mine was not soundproof at all. Despite being on the 10th floor, I could hear every motorcycle and noisy car at Av Atlântica. I had to use the background sounds on the phone in order to get to sleep.

The hotel was great. I had a nice view of the beach and a private balcony. There are lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Leonard at the front desk speaks good English and was very helpful with recommending places to eat and also calling for taxis. I can’t wait to visit again.

OK hotel. Staff watched us struggle with luggage, no offer of help. Rooms are dated and basic. Shower was good. Breakfast buffet was ok, not great. No room service.
