This was the priciest hotel of the 10 we stayed in during our trip around Romania, but the quality shows. For an extra £10 to £15 per night, you get a big room with a terrific bed and a really wonderful breakfast. It's a 10 minute walk to the centre and there is plenty of road parking as long as you don't arrive too late at night, in which case you'll have to park a bit further away. We loved it.

We stayed for 2 nights and overall it was a good experience. I called in advance to request a room where the music / noise from the bar wouldn't be heard (as I read other people’s reviews and they were complaining about the noise) and the staff was great at accommodating our need given the fact that I had a child with me. Parking on site, very few places, but street parking seemed available, I was able to find a spot in front of the hotel each time, bonus points for that. The reason I took some points off is because they could do a better job at cleaning. There was hair on the bathroom floor (black hair, mine is blonde, so it wasn’t mine), and the sheets had blood stains. I requested new sheets, and that was fine. And the other issue was the water leaking into the room from bathroom while I was taking a shower. I put a towel on the floor and that stopped the water leaking into the room, but this shouldn’t happen. Then, I would question the cleanliness of the towels as couple of them had black hair in them.
