First, the positives. The location, professionalism and attentiveness of the staff, and firmness of the mattress could not have been better. The pool was perfect sized for the facility. Now for the bad. The overall facility needs a lot of work. Too much to even address since it’s all visible to the management I shouldn’t even have to bring it up to them. But for potential guests, the air conditioning units only have an on/off switch. No way to control the temperature. I had to wake up 2-3 a night to either turn it on or off. There was a major leak in a control panel right outside my room. A constant 1” puddle of water. I opened the armoire under my air conditioner and it was all damp inside. The air conditioner was extremely loud and clanking for the first five minutes every time I turned it on and then settled down. This place is fine for 1-2 nights but not beyond that.

simple ordinary hotel, what more could you ask for. The only thing I missed was a TV (to connect a portable game console, watch movies)

Basic but very clean accommodation, centrally located in Paphos, lift hadn’t worked for years, feral cats urinating in the communal area, staff were very helpful

We arrived late at night and were told that room that we booked is not available and there are no other rooms. We were told to drive to another hotel about 10 km from the city. That other hotel named Marica quite run down and has no breakfast or dinning room. Completely different location and we received no compensation from New York plaza for all the hussle and inconvenience
