    Our stay at Cape Weligama was truly unforgettable. The property is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views and an atmosphere of pure luxury. Our suite was incredibly spacious, with a large balcony and an equally impressive bathroom that made the stay feel extra special. We arrived on my actual birthday and were warmly welcomed with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. A huge thank you to Brenden Scott for making our stay so seamless and memorable — his attention to detail and care truly elevated the experience. One of the highlights was the private birthday dinner arranged with the most breathtaking view — a truly unforgettable evening. The iconic moon pool was stunning, especially with the dramatic ocean backdrop. The beach area directly at the hotel is a little small, but just a short distance away there is a lovely public beach. We also went over to Weligama Beach for a swim.

    Hotels at this level need to be much more agile and sensitive to certain customizations or requests from guests be it tours, special meals, transport arrangements, etc Cape Weligama falls short in this regard but excels in terms of room layouts snd cleanliness and of course location
