The Bayside Inn is a great location and within walking distance of many businesses, including the Classic Doc for the Arnold Ferry to Mackinac Island. We were very happy with our stay; our room was clean for the most part, except for a few spots on the wall and ceiling that were dirty. I had seen another review saying the water in their shower was cold; when we stayed, the water heated quickly and stayed hot the entire time. There was a continental breakfast offered that included coffee, yogurt, muffins, bagels, juice, and cereal. Check in/out was seamless. I would definitely stay here again.
