I love having my own space, especially with my dog. They were okay with her barking during the day and when I would stay at the resorts they would call or text me to come get her even though she was doing what dogs do. The staff were very sweet and got us anything we needed. The cottages do not have an ocean view but it is one block from it. The only thing that frustrated me were the televisions. There were 2 remotes for each TV and we never could figure out the living room TV. Even with help!

The property owners are very kind and communicative. The property is in excellent location / walking distance to the the beach. It was quiet, parking close and plenty of it. Pool was fine. The cottage was cute and well decorated. Linens were good. No shampoo/conditioner/body wash but we brought our own! Cottage is definitely outdated but from 1940s. Floors caving a little bit, microwave handle broken, bathroom pretty small, but for the cost and location and a quick weekend getaway, it was exactly what we expected.

We loved our stay at the Palmetto Cottage at Darlington Inn! Our family of four, along with our pup, had a wonderful time in this cozy cottage. It's just a short, easy walk to the beach, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby for a quick bite.
The kitchen was well-equipped and functional, allowing us to prepare most of our meals during our stay. The cottage was comfortable, welcoming, and made for a relaxing getaway.
Thank you for your hospitality…we'd be happy to stay here again!
