We stayed for a night at the Bel & Dragon in Wendover after a Chilterns walk along the Ridgeway from Princes Risborough. The pub was a lovely way to end the day - the room was very nice and we had a few drinks and great meal. It was the hottest day of the year, so understandably warm in the rooms, but there was a fan provided, which helped with the heat.

The only problem was that on the hottest weekend of the year the room did not have air conditioning. There was a Dyson fan which helped but it broke down on our second night but was replaced very quickly by a member of staff. The breakfast was excellent served by two young girls who couldn’t have been more helpful.

The property was pretty clean. The room was pretty nice and spacious. Staff was very courteous Happy face breakfast was amazing included with our stay.

Great hotel, very nicely decorated throughout and with great service and little extra touches. Food was good and noise from the bar did not travel up to the rooms.
