The house is stunning; it feels like it did 140 years ago, with beautiful furnishings from that time period. Our room was very large, with a comfortable seating area and an extra area with lots of stained glass that really brought in the natural light nicely. Even though our room was steet-side, the traffic noise was negligible. Our stay was much quieter than a hotel room in a similar situation. We didn't see any guests until breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was better than I could have made at home; it was delicious and varied, with our heated food made to order. We were very impressed with the whole experience.

This is our fourth time staying at this beautiful bed-and-breakfast!
Very beautiful grounds to walk on and around and the place itself is absolutely gorgeous! We sat in my parlor and played cards and had some snacks. There are homemade cookies every night, but this time they were waiting in our room, which was a nice treat. Breakfast is excellent and they will accommodate you if you ask, but we’ve always had excellent food.
The two women who run the kitchen and clean their rooms are both extremely friendly and so lovely to talk to you! We have met The in keepers in prior stays and they are just as nice. We will be back again!
