Staying in a historic hotel downtown made the whole trip a unique experience. We stayed in the Captains Quarters which has its own parlor with a gorgeous new freestanding tub. The only staff you'll encounter, there's no desk staff, are from the restaurant downstairs and they were very friendly.

We loved this room. It has an older feel, but so much character and the hotel location couldn't be better. The check in process was very easy as well. The only tiny complaint would be parking, but other than that, it's a marvelous find.

We were disappointed in the balcony. It was just a view of a metal roof and parking lot. Not worth paying the extra money just for the balcony.
