    The location was fantastic. All the famous attractions were within walking distance. If they are not, there are bike rentals, big bus tours right beside the building. Accessible food nearby too. Room was very big and cleaned daily. Top notch! Definitely coming back to stay again if I’m back at SF

    Our first ever time to SF from Australia and so SO so glad we chose Hotel Zephyr. Location cannot be beat! Right in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf and our room (Premium Waterfront Double) looked directly over to Alcatraz and we could also see Golden Gate Bridge and the Ferris wheel! Could walk everywhere in minutes. Hotel far exceeded our expectations right from check in. We were able to do an early check in at 9am for such a small fee which was incredible after a 14 hour flight! Unique and fun marine themed decor was done so well. Our 7 year old son loved all the funky touches and the games room was huge! Outdoor courtyard was the perfect space to chill, and the fire pits and complementary s'mores kits just made it all that more special. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Onsite security made us feel super safe. ATM on site too was handy, 7 Eleven just round the corner. Couldn't bear any of it!! When we make it back, this is the only place we'll stay!

    I booked seeing Harbor view in Agoda and then after visiting, I have been given a street view access room and I had to upgrade to get a harbour facing room for ***/night and then for nights in total I had to pay extra *** where ***/night is convenience fee. I had told my concerige staff that they will not interact with Agoda because its some other 3rd party that have the room booking to them. It took me 30 minutes to explain to just get checked-in which I did not like it at all and all this extra money from my pocket to upgrade & all.

    If you want to be in the heart of Fishermans Wharf it's not a bad option (although the Kimpton Alton is much better). Staff were unfriendly and not helpful, check in was slow. Room has aged, had to change room because air conditioning didn't work. Bathrooms are sufficient but overall the rooms are average, aging and need a refurb (not like the pictures). WIFI was good. No real sustainability program as the receptionist tried to give us to plastic water bottles on check in and disposable cups for the coffee machine. Not recommended and wouldn't stay again. Being in Fishermans Wharf is like being in Darling Harbour (although not as nice) and there are other great spots in the city.
