My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Coral Reef Guesthouse for a week while we were exhibiting at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, and this place blew us away. Quiet, charming, and just a few blocks from the beach, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of our workweek.
From the moment we arrived, the owners, Russell and João, made us feel completely at home. They were kind, genuine, and made it clear this wasn't just a guesthouse—it was their home, and they were happy to share it. Their adorable French bulldog, Nina, was the cherry on top. She greeted us every morning like we were old friends, and honestly, we looked forward to seeing her little butt wiggle every day.
The guesthouse itself is something special. The courtyard is like a private oasis, filled with lush greenery, orchids, bonsai trees, and peaceful vibes that made it easy to forget we were in the middle of a city. It was a perfect place to start the morning with a cup of coffee & tea. Or wind down after a long day of meetings.
Our room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The owners checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The attention to detail was clear, and it really felt like they cared about our experience.
The location couldn’t be better. We brought our JackRabbit e-bikes and rode them daily along the coast, exploring restaurants, shops, and local spots all within easy distance. It’s tucked away enough to feel private

Such a nice place to spend a few days! The owners are wonderful and we fell in love with their dog, Nina, the cutest French bouledogue we’ve ever seen. Plus, it is a quiet place, not too far from the beach. Just perfect.
