    It is very rare for me not to recommend a hotel, but this is one of those rare instances. Generally it looks ok, pretty standard budget hotel with breakfast included. Breakfast quality was ok, not bad. Right lets get on with it. The moment we entered the room, it was very dark and after inserting the room key into the power slot, lights went on, however whenever we tried to close the door the lights went out again and we were in the total darkness. The entrance to the room was via a short corridor, so we couldn't see into the room until you shut the door and walk a bit further in. This happened a few times, so we were just about to go down to the reception to get help, I decided to try again and tired to video the whole process of the lights going out when we shut the door. This time the light stayed on, no switching off itself. Tried it a few more times and it was ok. Upon seeing the room, it was dark, as you'd expect from a hotel room. Bathroom was a decent size. Bath towels were well worn, but clean. Room felt a bit creepy, had a weird feeling. I immediately checked under the bed, just in case some crazy person was down there or Pennywise the clown or whatever. Anyway, I felt ok afterwards, but my wife didn't like the vibes the room was giving off. It was a corner room at the end of the building. Some people, don't like the end rooms for some reason. Had a shower, but the way the bath and shower was configured, the water splashed around the tub part and made the bathroom floor all wet. Weird set up. Anyway, I slept ok, as I always do, cos tired and all. My wife was ok, however, after waking up very earlier and snoozing again my wife said she had a bad nightmare. Like I said, she didn't like the vibe of the room or hotel. For me, it just felt old and musty. To be fair, many budget hotels are old in Taiwan period. Anyway, left the hotel, and my wife said, never again. So, in all, we won't be using this hotel again, should we come back in the future. Enough said.
