This hotel was a perfect fit for our family! It is very centrally located, the rooms are comfortable, the inclusion of breakfast was a nice amenity, and the hotel pool was a big hit with our kids in the hot afternoons. It’s a small hotel, so it was nice to get to know the faces of the same three staffers that ran the front desk and made everything at the hotel operate smoothly. They were always around to answer questions or to quickly address any issues. We loved staying at the San Xavier Hotel, and we are grateful to the warm and helpful staff that made our visit so enjoyable! We would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here three nights to attend a family gathering. I was concerned that arriving at 2 AM would be a problem, but they assured me they were awake and ready to check me, and they were. This is a relatively small hotel, fewer than 20 rooms, but is pleasant and quiet and super convenient to the city center - only about two blocks from Jardin Zenia and Jardin Guerrero which bookend a major pedestrian street. Room was small, but not cramped. Bathroom was modern and clean. Houskeeping kept evertying fresh the next day. Best part though was the breakfast (included). About a dozen choices from a menu and all delicious and included bread, juice and coffee. The layout is a little unusual due to the narrow site with the pool along one side and several rooms on floor two and three on the other side. There are also a half dozen or so rooms along the path from the lobby to the pool. Some of the furniture in the lobby is starting to show signs of wear, but otherwise an excellent choice.

Very nice hotel. We enjoyed the pool. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Good internet. Walkable area. We had a room in the lobby, so there was a little noise. My biggest complaint would be the water pressure and not very hot water. Other than that, I would stay here again.

Never any hot water when I needed to shower, had to call the front desk to get the hot water turned on and then wait for it. At first, the phone didn't work nor did the TV remotes. My complaints were met with platitudes. I go to Queretaro a lot for work. I'll never stay here again.

A beautiful property. This used to be an old mansion apparently but it has been gut renovated to be a hotel. The place could use a bit more color. The colors are currently white and cement. But overall quite a nice new establishment.

The breakfast was very good and included in the price. I stayed during the week and it was very quiet. Bed was firm which i like,pillows were good. I was solo but the bed would be small for two people. Plenty of hot water. It was a good choice.

While noone would mistake it for a luxury palace, the hotel is clean, comfortable, cenrally located, has a helpful staff , AC, free breakfast and all at a reasonable price. For those on a budget without a need for 5 star ambience and amenities, this hotel is well worth considering.

We stayed at the San Xavier mid-March 2019. Our flight arrived late morning, and we were allowed to check-in several hours early. I had requested an upper room with window, and my requests were met. We found the room tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The Hotel is located about a quarter mile from the Main Plaza, but on a quiet street with little traffic. The Breakfast was complimentary and offered a good selection of egg dishes, hot cakes, yogurt and fruit; the coffee was delicious. All the staff were cordial and so very helpful. I recommend San Xavier without any reservations.

The hotel is in an excellent location., however there is a school nearby which can make it quite noisy un the afternoon or early evening. It is clean and cozy. The toilets needs better water pressure.

The wonderful location of this modernized Mexican hotel made for a great quick visit to Queretaro. We arrived in the early morning and the staff checked us in smoothly which was such a bonus. They immediately organized a safe ride for me to the airport. My room was spacious and comfy maintaining the wonderful Mexican feel. I left too early for breakfas.

Spacious room with 2 beds in the new part of the hotel. It has windows and daylight, rooms in the colonial part don't have it. Pool, sind terrasse with jacuzzi ( to be ordered 1 hour before use), Spa.Phantastic breakfast included, excellent service

Had one extra day in Mexico before returning from a business trip and decided to stay in downtown Queretaro. After looking on Expedia I selected the hotel San Xavier due to its location, price and photos. It did not disappoint. Reception was very welcoming and the hotel was clean and quiet. Unfortunately my flight was so early I did not get to sample the free breakfast. The hotel staff did arrange a taxi to the airport for me. Overall a great stay in a beautiful city.

We stayed here for 4 days my girlfriend and myself. We spent a very good time in this hotel. It is located in a nice area in downtown. The breakfast is included and its just great, there are few hotels that provide a breakfast like this. The heated pool is nice and they have jacuzzi too. We really liked this hotel. I definitely will recommend it.

Upon arrival they have valet parking, they take it to a private parking lot 2 blocks away and retrieve it when you need it. The place looks nice and the staff will go the extra mile to keep you happy! Very friendly and well mannered. The pool, the jacussi, the spa, all in great conditions. Very reserved and right in downtown. You will find a very comfortable stay. Rooms are cozy, you won't have any trouble sleeping. Hot water, a/c, tv with 100's of channels. Breakfast is whatever you want the chef to cook for you, omelet, hotcakes, fruit, sweet bread you name it. Ask for coffe, orange juice, milk anything and they have it. They lock the gates at night and on guard, knock and they open window to see who is it and let you in. Overall very complete and nice, all you need, internet, breakfast, valet parking, pool, jacussi, spa, superb staff, overnight guarf, hot shower, great tv, great outdoor, downtown, walking to good restaurants. Loved it. Thank you San Xavier!

We enjoyed very much our stay at Hotel San Xavier, Queretaro. The location is well-situated in the Historical Center of the city. The staff was very helpful, pleasant, and accomodating.
