This motel wss one of the best we've staying. Very well kitted out (full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, very comfortable bed withwarmer). It was quiet and absolutely spotless. 10 out of 10!

Check in was a breeze. The room was super clean and well maintained. The kitchenette as well as the pots and dishes were spotless as well. As there was a large grocery store right opposite the street, it was easy to buy something to microwave or cook over the stove for dinner. We enjoyed our stay here.

Sarah and Steve were very welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate our change of plans. So it’s no surprise that this carried over to the rooms which were well stocked and comfortable. The amenities and service were great and I would recommend the Alpine Rose to anyone visiting Greymouth.

A great overnight stay from start to finish.
Quick & easy checkin, spotlessly clean room, all the amenities we needed. A lovely comfortable bed.
The only improvement would be a more powerful shower, but l appreciate the environmental benefit of the existing setup.
Highly recommended, virtually opposite a supermarket and a few good restaurant/bars in close walking distance.
