Staff, place, and the hotel was superb, but only 1 thing is they need to upgrade their menu and food, good was not alligned in the price. Steak was over cooked, limited choices of food, breakfast serving the best salty fish ever even there is a lot of foreign in their resort, japanese resto serving only limited and expensive dish, italian resto mall food way more better. But, thisnis only my opinion and.experience, try it to your self, my advice is just go and eat outside.

Spacious and nice view. So many facilities we could’ve explored too. Easy and accessible airport transfers!

⭐ 1/5 STARS — EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. SERIOUS CHILD SAFETY CONCERNS, POOR MANAGEMENT RESPONSE, AND SUBSTANDARD ROOM QUALITY. Hotel: Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa, Puerto Princesa, Palawan Dates of Stay: October 7–11, 2026 Date of Incident: October 8, 2026 I am writing this review to share our family’s extremely disappointing and frightening experience at Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa. What was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday turned into an experience that left us distressed, disappointed, and seriously questioning the resort’s standards of safety, management, and accommodation. We stayed at this resort with our three young children, aged 7, 5, and 3. 1. SERIOUS INCIDENT INVOLVING OUR YOUNG CHILDREN On October 8, 2026, our family was enjoying the resort’s swimming pool facilities. Earlier that morning, at approximately 9:10 AM, we had noticed a group of guests drinking around the pool and bar area before we left for a crocodile farm tour. When we returned at approximately 2:00 PM, the same guests were still there drinking. Later that afternoon, my partner, mother, aunt, cousin, and his partner were supervising our three children at the swimming pools. At that time, I was upstairs in our hotel room taking a shower. According to my partner, an adult male guest who appeared to be heavily intoxicated repeatedly approached and chased our two young daughters, aged 7 and 5, around the swimming pool areas. He was reportedly insisting on playing with them and asking, “Do you wanna come with me?” My partner noticed the man’s behaviour and became increasingly concerned. He got out of the pool to keep an eye on the situation while also supervising our 3-year-old son. The situation escalated when the man reportedly grabbed our 5-year-old daughter, placed her on his lap, and went down the swimming pool slide with her without our permission or consent. My partner witnessed this and immediately confronted the man. As parents, we found this behaviour completely unacceptable. No stranger should be grabbing or physically handling someone else’s young child without parental permission. At 3:49 PM, my partner messaged me asking where I was. At 3:50 PM, he informed me that a suspicious man was attempting to play with our children. I immediately called him and made my way downstairs. By the time I arrived, a heated confrontation was already taking place. I took my daughter aside to gently ask what had happened. She was crying, frightened, and visibly distressed. Seeing my little girl in that condition was heartbreaking. We initially feared that the man might have inappropriate intentions towards our daughters because of his reported behaviour. While we cannot confirm his intentions, the physical contact and repeated attempts to approach our children were deeply concerning. 2. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING MANAGEMENT RESPONSE What made this experience even worse was the resort management’s response. Because I was not personally present when the incident happened, I repeatedly requested that management review the CCTV footage so I could understand exactly what had occurred. I WAS THE ONE PERSONALLY AND CONSISTENTLY FOLLOWING UP ABOUT THE CCTV FOOTAGE. I wanted to see the full sequence of events and understand what had happened to our daughter. Each time I followed up, I was told that management was doing its best to locate the footage. However, we received no clear answers or meaningful updates. We checked out on October 11, 2026, without receiving the requested CCTV footage, a proper explanation, or any clear information about what action had been taken. All we received was an apology. I understand that management cannot control every guest’s behaviour, but I strongly believe that a serious incident involving young children’s safety deserves immediate investigation, proper follow-up, and transparent communication.
