Warm welcome (including welcome drink), excellent breakfast (although waitress could have been more pro-active). Nicely-appointed room.
No problems leaving luggage behind after check-out until train arrived.

I stayed in this fabulous chocolate hotel in early October when I was walking on the Camino way. After a 10 mile day of walking, it was wonderful to get there and berated with a wine spritzer with chocolate shavings, delicious chocolate bar, and a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was included and was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this place.

The room was clean and the furnishing was very comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fit for a queen. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would most definitely stay in this hotel again when visiting Viana do Castelo.
