I stayed for 2 nights during Oct 2026, the location is very good, however the Air condition does not work, as per the staff they are on heating mode now since winter is coming. Secondly the wifi signals were so weak and i was not able to use it.

The hotel has a great location in the city center, within walking distance of many restaurants and cafés. The downtown area is very walkable, lively, and full of activity. However, our overall experience was disappointing. Our room was on the ground floor and was very noisy, which made it difficult to rest. The hotel had placed two single beds next to each other to create a large bed, but they kept separating during the night, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The breakfast was another disappointment, with very limited variety, and it certainly wasn’t worth the $12 per person. Overall, considering the room comfort, noise, breakfast quality, and the price, I feel this hotel is significantly overpriced for what it offers in Yerevan. The location is excellent, but the hotel needs to improve several aspects of its service and accommodations to justify its rates.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, nothing else.. The check-in was delayed till after 3 PM, the staff are not friendly nor professional, the WiFi is slow and sometimes it is not working, and finally, there are no amenities or facilities at all.. It was a waste of money for me honestly and I don't recommend it at all.
    6.4 / 10Average·Jan 2025
I stayed at Royal Plaza Hotel in Yerevan recently, and overall, it was a bit underwhelming. The hotel felt pretty outdated, with old beds and furniture that seemed like they hadn't been replaced in a while. For the price I paid, it was okay, but not a great value. The staff was friendly enough and spoke decent English, which was a plus since I’m not fluent in Armenian. However, the whole vibe just felt mediocre—nothing particularly bad, but nothing that stood out as exceptional either. It didn’t really feel like a place I’d want to return to, especially when there are other options in Yerevan that seem to offer more for the same price. As a solo traveler, I prefer a bit more comfort and modern amenities. I’m not sure I’d stay here again, but it’s not terrible if you just need a place to crash for a night or two.
