La Passion by Masaya Collection

I had a fantastic stay at La Passion by Masaya. The hotel perfectly blends charm, comfort, and an unbeatable location in the heart of Cartagena’s Old Town. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious, served in a beautiful outdoor setting with genuinely kind service. After long, hot days exploring the city, the strong A/C and reliable hot shower felt heavenly. The rooms were unique, stylish, and full of character, and our balcony was especially beautiful. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to fully relax after busy days walking around Cartagena. One of the standout parts of our stay was the hospitality. Marcela was incredibly helpful throughout our visit — answering countless questions and helping arrange reasonably priced transportation, laundry, massages, and anything else we needed. The entire staff made the experience feel exceptionally warm and welcoming from beginning to end. The location truly could not have been better. Nearly everywhere we wanted to go was just steps away, yet the hotel still felt adequately quiet and peaceful at night. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Thoughtful touches like complimentary drinking water always available for guests made a great experience even better. This hotel was an outstanding value for the quality, comfort, service, and location. I would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend it to friends and family visit

Excellent staff members, they treated us with kindness and welcomed us with a smile. We were very satisfied with our staff, rooms and service. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is near all the main attractions. A fun and friendly hotel with great staff in an attractive building. However, given the high price, some of the furniture needs to be updated, most especially the beds

A very comfortable and well-located hotel. From here, you can do almost everything in the Ciudad Amurallada on foot. The hotel is comfortable and nicely decorated. I really enjoyed my room... the bed was comfortable, the shower had a unique design, and the space was generous. The only thing I missed was a mini fridge. The rooftop pool isn’t big, but it’s enough to cool down from the heat. There aren’t many seats protected from the sun, though. Breakfast is generous and delicious, and the ladies who prepare it are very warm and polite. I stayed in a ground-floor room, but if you get a room upstairs, be aware that there is no elevator. The staff is kind and professional. For the price, it’s a good accommodation, and I recommend it.
