Chateau Westport Resort

Nice looking property and facility, clean, spacious comfortable room, friendly staff. Walls were perhaps a bit thin as I could easily hear a crying child in the adjacent room. Also, they advertise an oceanfront location which is quite inaccurate, and ocean-view rooms which is technically accurate but misleading. There is literally a forest between the property and the ocean. Still, I found it to be a pleasant location, facility, and stay.

This hotel is located in a lovely and convenient area to access the beach. the rooms were neat and clean and the staff was great. We were very disappointed however to see that the weight room and spa were out of service. We had counted on using that.

So it had been a few years since we stayed here. I would not recommend this place! The Chateau, more like the Ghetto! They don’t seem to care to fix things, there was a plunger with poop on it in the bathroom, the wall above the shower just had drywall mud thrown on it, no A/C and it was HOT, like we were dripping sweat until after midnight when it finally cooled down, the tv is the size of a computer monitor and nothing worked, not even “live tv” according to the instructions we followed. They no longer have a hot tub and the pool was out of order. So it felt like a huge rip off and I will never stay there again!

This hotel or I should really say motel is a subpar. Our Windows barely opened and there was no air conditioner. It was absolutely stifling in our room. No housekeeping. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. No regular television. Had to login and use your own streaming channels. The only good thing about this motel was the staff were very kind..And if you're traveling with pets it had a lot of grounds.
