Westin Sanya has a beautiful property with its own private beach and very pretty seaviews. Resort is massive and opposite the duty free mall which has a lot of shops and restaurants. Rooms are large and spacious and the swimming pool is large with paddle boat , foam party and other water activites. The resort also offers daily free kids play activities which were exciting for my child who took part in them daily. The upper bar on the roof has a stunning view and a nice pool and the beach side restaurant was very relaxing with its cabanas. We spent most of our time in the resort and barely went out anywhere as there was alot to do daily. Would also like to give my appericaation to Chole their French guests relation staff who was constantly in touch with me over wechat and helped provide ideas on things to do around Sanya and made bookings of activities for us in the resort. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Over all a beautiful property and when I visit next would love to comeback here.

Facilities are good but staff are not up to the hospitality standard. Some are rude and not patient

Hotel is awesome. Only thing is Agoda side, we book a room for 3 adults, including breakfast, upon check-in, hotel said, breakfast only for 2 as submitted by agoda, which doesn't make sense, as booking a room with 3 adults, include breakfast, should include for 3 pax, not 2 pax. Hotel made an exception, provided us breakfast for 3, which is splendid. I booked another hotel in Haikou, Sun City hotel, following this 2 days stay, the other hotel also said breakfast only for 2 as received by Agoda. This is not good at Agoda side.

We booked 3 rooms under 1 name and were told they would be in the same area. Instead, we were separated: 2 rooms on the same floor were about 15 rooms apart. The 3rd room was placed on a completely different floor and direction. Extremely biased staff. Most of the time we queued, they let people of their own race cut the line right in front of us.
