    The main plus points for this hotel were very clean and reasonably quiet room, a decent breakfast, helpful staff and the pool area. This is a 2 star hotel but punches above its weight for the reasons specified. An old building means that there is some noise from residents in rooms above or adjacent. However it is about a 10 minutes walk from the main streets of St Helier

    I stayed at the Norfolk Hotel recently and I must say the highlight was the friendliness of the staff. The rooms were superbly clean and the food was of a good standard.

    Great location, 10 min walk to high street, Morrisons daily 1 min away. Has parking which is at the back of the property. Room is okay, a bit outdated. Only two sockets and both on other end of the room from the bed, bathroom is a good size. Overall it's a clean room. No bottled water provided though. The lift wouldn't work always, many times it would take a few attempts for the doors to close, sometimes more and then I would take the stairs instead. This was quite annoying. Breakfast was okay, but not worth the price. Servers were friendly, but actual food was usually at room temperature not hot, even the toast was always a bit cold. If I knew Morrisons was that near by I would have just bought food from there. Overall I would recommend as it's a lot cheaper than the usual places.

    The hotel was clean, our bedroom was large, reception team friendly. Central to town. Just a shame Agoda gave out the wrong times for checking in and out on their site before I paid . I had booked this and planned, lunch in town and drinks then a pre booked a show later. The hotel sent me a message just a couple of days before stay, to say check in was from 3.30pm an hour half later then we were told on the booking site, makes a lot of difference to your plans, then was told check out 10am not 10.30am as we had on the booking site before. After pinging e mails back and forth, to the hotel , they did agree to honour the booking times, but shame on you Agoda for not checking out with the hotel the correct times .
