Wonderful views! , a once amazing property but now needs much T.L.C ! Decoration exciting , wood build house fantastic design , benefit from thorough deep clean , including pool areas outside too . Appreciate difficulty keeping clean as in jungle area (had mouse in room! ) but great to see monkeys on our balcony. For the price would also expect more breakfast variety (same for 3 days )but was a pleasure to greeted by friendly Mattao the host with great coffee each morning .

Matteo was beyond amazing. So incredibly flexible and made us feel right at home. The property, furniture, accomodations, and Matteo made this stay absolutely incredible. He had various reccomendations for hikes, things to do, and restaurants. Will definitely be booking again next time I’m in Rio.
Definitely a must do while visiting Rio. Beach is also incredibly chill/clean/beautiful compared to Ipanema and Copacabana

Matteo is a fantastic host and the property is simply amazing!! Both the design and location. But I think the best quality was how relaxing and homely the place felt, it really did feel like a luxury private home rather than a guesthouse. The views over Pedra da Gavea and Sao Conrado were breathtaking, and again Matteo was a fantastic and conscientious host. I can wholeheartedly recommend Tuakaza, and I personally would like to stay there again. Muito obrigado Matteo. Tom
