    I've been generous with the rating because I stayed for a day only. Overall, the hotel stay was not bad. I certainly found it a bit overpriced for the usual price of a delux room. The kind of delux room provided to me also was very a basic, oldish one. I've definitely lived in much better ambience and larger rooms in half the price as this one, in Varanasi Cantt. area. There are better rooms as well in this hotel itself, which cost even more. If you are easy in the money side, you may get better rooms with more payments. My feedback is mostly based on my room. Overall ambience of the hotel was nice. Well-ventilated, clean, hygienic. Food (Veg Biryani) was average. Staff was nice too.

    I recently completed a 2.5-day stay at Hotel Buddha Castle which is a so-called “3-star hotel,” and I would not recommend it to anyone. The room itself was small, unkempt, and extremely gloomy. There was no floor mat or bathroom mat, the furniture was dusty, and aside from the bedsheet, nothing felt clean. The pillow covers had visible stains. The electric kettle provided was broken, the cups were dirty, and the bathroom was far from fresh—no proper freshener, just an old worn-out one hanging there. The taps and shower leaked continuously, and there was no hot water. We had to heat water in the jug and fill the bucket manually, and even the bucket and mug were dirty. There was no toothbrush stand or any basic bathroom accessories. To make matters worse, dirty dishes remained outside our room for hours. Even the replacements we received were after repeated requests: a bath towel was swapped with a floor mat, the broken kettle was eventually replaced, and clean cups were provided only after insisting multiple times. Shockingly, even a dental kit had to be specifically asked for in a hotel they claim is “3-star.” Overall, the stay was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place entirely.
