    I like staying at the Lygn Lodge as it is central to everything, close to public transport and it has a nice ambiance.

    What a lovely find… Right on Lygon St & very reasonable in price .. Originally staying for 2 nights I extended to 4.. Perfect for a little inner city short stay close to everything,which I lapped up, so cosy I got to have a nice rest too. The property is under some renovation but I heard nothing and yes the workmen were there.. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help with my enquires but Jason was the standout .. He checked me in and checked me out with a caring and attentive attitude and offering to help with my luggage both on the way in and out . He quickly and efficiently answered all my questions & concerns even checking on me whilst doing my laundry . . Considering he is new Jason went above and beyond for me so I think he deserves some recognition , Carlton Lygon Lodge you are lucky to have him… So until we meet again , thanks for a perfect short stay in my favourite Location in Melbourne Lygon St Carlton.     Booked 2 rooms. Faulty kitchen faucet sprayed water all over bench next to toaster. Old rubbish is stashed between balconies. The $30 parking fee is for a space in a wirk zone. Internal Lift has thick dust from the renovations that have just begun.
