    This was just my "recovery" hotel after arriving into Europe, so I spent most of my time sleeping and did not really use any of the facilities so can't comment on much other than the staff was extremely helpful in getting me into a room well before check in time. That was much appreciated, as I was super tired upon arriving. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area for a longer trip.

    Review: Mixed Experience – Great Staff, but Lacks Basic Amenities ​ ​I recently stayed at Hotel Reehorst in Ede-Wageningen. While there were some high points, the room experience left a bit to be desired for the price point. Here is a breakdown of my stay: ​The Room & Amenities ​Cleanliness: The room was notably clean, which I appreciated. However, the decor felt tired and dated, needing a modern touch to truly feel welcoming. ​The Tech: Surprisingly, the room featured a very large, expensive TV set. It’s a great perk if you’re looking for high-quality entertainment during your stay. ​Bedding: My room had three single beds. Unfortunately, the pillows were massive and not comfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's rest. ​Missing Essentials: The biggest disappointment was the complete lack of coffee or tea-making facilities. There wasn't even a kettle provided. In this day and age, not being able to make a hot drink in your room is a significant downside. ​Facilities & Staff ​Bathroom: The bathroom was functional but very basic. It serves its purpose but offers no luxury or extra comfort. ​Service: The highlight of the stay was definitely the friendly hotel staff. They were welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. ​Value for Money ​Costs: I found the tourist tax to be quite high, which added an unexpected sting to the final bill. When combined with the lack of basic in-room amenities, the value-to-price ratio felt off. ​Summary: If you just need a clean place to crash and a great TV, this works. But if you value a comfortable pillow and a morning coffee in your room, you might find the experience frustrating. Huge thanks to the staff for their kindness, though!
