Closer to a hostel or pension than a hotel but very nice and helpful staff, good transport options to the slopes, 10min walk to main town. Nabeya restaurant was authentic sukiyaki!

Hotel Keyaki no Ki offers a wonderful stay, supported by friendly and attentive staff who genuinely go out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The hotel features an excellent buffet breakfast that caters to a wide range of tastes, as well as a relaxing public onsen that’s perfect for unwinding after a day out.
In the basement, guests can enjoy a lively bar and games room equipped with a pool table and table tennis, adding an extra element of fun to the stay. While the hotel is a short walk from the main areas, convenient shuttle buses are available, making getting around easy. Overall, it’s a great value for the cost, and I would happily stay here again.

I chose this place last second in prime ski season and was blown away with what I got for the price. I would definitely come back again if I were to visit Hakuba valley in the future.
