I have a full review a couple of days ago cos I booked my stay twice in a row. It’s fun, convenient. You don’t really have to leave the place if you don’t want to. If I have to find fault with it, it would be because I enjoy a brighter room at night. In the daytime , the floor to ceiling windows shines a lot of light in, but after sunset, the small light on the edge of the ceiling and walls result in a dim room. But if you like romantic, this will be just fine for you.

Initially booked for 3 days and 2 nights. Unfortunate incident with our booking at another place happened so we came 1 day early to see if we can get the same rooms one day before our initial check in date. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even allowed me to do the booking using Agoda app since it has a lower price. The rooms are clean, bed is firm but not hard, breakfast buffet stretches from 6:30-13:30. That’s so smart cos it spreads out the residents so the buffet is never crowded. You can sleep late and get brunch or lunch. Or you can eat early and have a full day to explore Hwa Lien. There’s also self service laundromat and dryer. The recreation center has lots of activities to try, some you have to pay extra. We stayed on the 11th floor and there nothing instructing our view of the hills and swimming pool. That’s why it’s a must come.

I booked a room over the holiday weekend in June because I knew Parkview had a great pool. I was disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for repairs. There was no announcement on the English website, nor on their Facebook page. But that didn’t stop them from using a picture of the pool as the main photo on each. Such an easy thing to do — post a message telling guests that their prime attraction is closed. Obviously that would have cost them some business, but I would have appreciated the honesty.
