It was convenient but bare bones for single room only had 1 fan & a bed no trash bin or somewhere to set things

For the price, it’s the best! The staff prioritize cleanliness and have certain rules that make staying in the shared pods even better. I have literally no complaints I stayed there for 3 days. It was peaceful. Thank you! I’ll definitely visit again in the future.

I could hear the water running through the pipes fairly loudly in this particular room. Earplugs might be needed if you struggle with needing silence to get to sleep.

It's not luxury but for the price It's good. Staff is very nice and people are generally quiet and respectful of others. Across the street from the Sky Tower, around the corner from a grocery store, and right down the street from Queen St.

The room was dirty full of dusty and some rubish left from the last occupant and the bed were to small for me and theres a loud noise at night from some pipe. The shower is horrible it feels like a tap o the wall and you must be lucky to get hot water.

Suited my needs. A good spring clean in certain areas would not go amiss

The hot was was unreliable and the bedding was too light and small. I wouldn't stay there again.

Hot water for a shower is an issue. I had to run the shower for a minimum of 15 mins before hot water would come through.

The room is under a septic flush and every time the toilet flushes it always making a loud noise. The hose of the septic has a water that is dripping down the bedroom.

It was a great place. Reasonably priced

Noisy air vents and plumbing throuth the room was not a good night , place needs a good overhaul..

The bathroom stall doors on 3rd floor men bathroom needs adjustments to close properly. I will book here on my next time in Auckland CBD. Close to Sky Tower and convenient Sky drive bus to and from airport. Also, safe environment at this establishment. Friendly, informative and knowledgeable staff.

It's a hostel, and possibly the cheapest in the city, however it is still a hostel. YOU NEED A PASSPORT OR NZ GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID OR NEW ZEALAND DRIVERS LICENCE TO CHECK IN! Nowhere prior to arriving was this stated and it is one of their "ToS" for cancelling your booking, and I was travelling internally without my passport, Fortunately I have have a NZ license however. I understand most will be traveling with a passport so it won't affect them. Check in was 1pm but had to wait 40 minutes as the manager was still checking or cleaning rooms which was no big dea. The 3rd floor mens bathroom was average, with 1 of the 2 showers not fully functional, however the mens bathroom on the 2nd floor was way cleaner and more practical. I stayed in a single occupancy private room (no window) and it was fine. Not that loud, mattress was not that great, minimal bedding was provided so was good I had a sleeping bag with me, but ample room for my luggage and a little table and chair in the room for eating. Wifi was fast and consistent, laundry rooms in the basement were cheap ($4 for washer, $4 for dryer) they sell detergent in the reception apparently. For a place to sleep, wash, and store your luggage it was adequate, however maybe I got lucky with my stay.

The bed was awful! Needs to be replaced coule feel the springs, didn’t get a wink of sleep. Staff were amazing though

Staff indeed is helpful including tourist information. The cheapest hostel in town, you get what you pay, good value for money. Wifi even on the 3rd level is connected well. Kitchen is provided with plenty of cooking kitchenware & tableware

Sometime is so wet in toliet.

at other area I use trek like this, feel disapoint no use again.

Since I am an Aucklander, I pretty know the area much. So, staying here in these areas is not a deal. The staff are accommodating and friendly.

Windows in my room were open when I arrived - on a rainy day - bed was very wet from the rain. Thin duvet - got cold at night. No rubbish bin in [private] room. Toilet stalls don't properly close and/or don't lock. Shower doors have wide gaps through which you can see straight in. The building doesn't feel maintained or cared for. Many security cameras everywhere.

Its super cheap, so thats what you get. Its old and run down. I think next time its worth it spending a bit more for a nicer place. Wouldnt stay again

I have stayed here many times. Very good central location and good prices. Some rooms have fans and I was happy. PLease put fans in all rooms now as it is summer. The manager Muhammad is a very responsible, mature person and very helpful. Another very helpful and nice staff member is a South African guy. The other staff need training for better customer service. I was made to wait twice to check in as the staff was busy counting the shifts collection between 2.30 pm and 3,30pm. I was very tired and wanted to check in at once as I was coming from overseas. If that is the case , please write in the instructions that from 2.30pm to 3.30 pm the office is closed. To make customers wait especially when they are tired coming from overseas is not good and has never happened in any backpacker I have stayed in NZ and overseas.

Great place to stay, warm and safe. Kitchen could use a clean though, especially the fridge and freezer. Would stay here again and recommend for backpackers

Friendly staff ,1 pm check in is excellent unlike others at 2 pm . Room has fan very good . Bathroom needs improvement. One bathroom toilet door broken at level3

Too expensive for a private Room With shower and without Windows. The Bathroom Is very old. The lamp of the room in the celling was not Working.
