I came to Dorchester to see their Museum and Art Gallery and the National Trust property Max Gate (Thomas Hardy House). Bramlies was near the center of town and walking distance to everything. I was happily impressed by my room and the wonderful hospitality of Alison and her mother. They were cheerful and helpful. Alison provided a lovely breakfast which included a full jar of her homemade marmalade - you choose the flavor! Delicious!

The room was nice, and Alison (the host) was lovely. A little unusual to have the shower directly in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom, but it worked ok for me.
This b'n'b setup is behind the host's house, accessed down the side of the house. It is an easy 15 mins walk to the main street and to the train station so in a convenient spot.

The owners are a very kind, helpful family. The rooms were very clean. Good location, at walking distance to the town centre.
The breakfast was really good, including healthy options. The welcome tea and cake was very nice.
