Hotel was well located, very small room and bathroom. Staff was very friendly, room had AC and a safe.

This is a clean and nice place to stay in an excellent location that is close to the Gothic Quarter and LaRamblas. Easy walking distance to many things. The staff was very helpful to arrange transportation and suggest walking routes. There was a large assortment of breakfast items. Additionally, they had a large storage area which enabled us to store our luggage prior to check in. This was especially helpful as we departed a cruise boat in the early morning hours. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

My room was compact but perfect for one. Shower was excellent & bed comfortable. All front desk staff were kind & helpful. I purchased the breakfast plan for my stay & was very happy I did. It was a generous buffet, with fresh fruit & meats. Coffee machines worked beautifully. I am a single women in her 70's and felt very safe in this quiet, centrally located hostel hotel. I definitely recommend it.

We had a brilliant experience here for 2 nights prior to our Mediterranean cruise. Location was great, rooms clean and breakfast was really good. A few days after checkout, I realised I was missing my purse (actually hoping it was at home and tried not to think too much about it). However, Carlos from the hostal staff messaged me 5 days after we left to say they had found my purse! We were returning to Barcelona to end the cruise and I was able to collect it . All money and cards in tact! I couldnt believe it. On the way there from the cruise, my husband took unwell and progressively over the course of that day, the 4 of us were suffering what seemed to be sea sickness. Our flight home was not until 10pm, and the staff allowed us to use their common room to recuperate. Their service and hospitality was outstanding . Definitely worth booking as your base in Barcelona
