A superb safari game lodge in the Eastern Cape South Africa. Excellent in every way with very knowledgeable rangers who offer 2 x 3 hour game drives per day. Wonderful variety of animals to see :- lions, cheetah, elephant, giraffe white rhino, hippos, eland, kudu, vervet monkeys, black wildebeest, ostrich and warthogs. Utterly fabulous and our 4th visit

Smallish lodge with informative game drives. Staff really nice a friendly. Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a couple of Hippo's hanging out the front. Food good without being over the top. Given the weather, didnt get to make much use of the outdoor area, but would be nice in summer.
My only gripe is when I neede to cancel and rebook, it took almost 2 months and the commencement of credit card chargeback to get my refund (which was not disputed).

Hlosi on the Amakhala game reserve was fabulous from start to finish , all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was delicious with several options per course, we enjoyed every meal . The game drives were amazing , our guide Ambe was informative and knowledgeable, took the time to answer all our questions also great fun. The animals and birds we saw here were spectacular.
