    Hotel Justus is minutes from all the sights of Old Riga. There are numerous bars and restaurants within easy reach of the hotel. Our bedroom was good, the bed & pillows very comfortable. We visited when there was a problem with the hot water supply for 24hours but when that was fixed there was a plentiful supply of hot water for showers. Breakfast was a mixed experience. Whilst there is plenty of choice, unfortunately the hot food each morning could only be called ‘lukewarm’ at best. It would also be useful to have two machines for supply of hot drinks as on busy days there was always a queue. All this being said, Hotel Justus, located in the Old City is a great choice for a few days in Riga.

    The person at the reception said that we did not pay for an extra bed even though I paid for three people through Agoda. How can you say that without checking everything first, it ruined my stay at the hotel. When I asked if there would be more boiled eggs during breakfast, the staff said "that's enough for today". It was cold in the room so you can't recommend the hotel during winter months. There was an uneven floor in front of our room so you could easily fall. Location is good, in the old town, but nothing else is particularly worth it. The bed is not safe for small children because the headboard is made of metal.
