    So disappointed in our recent stay at Castaways/wyndham. My sister who lives in Bingal Bay highly recommended staying with Castaways. I had made a booking via Agoda, and was not informed of the renovations taking place nor the workers on site. On arrival I was met with a jack hammer. I understand renovations occur, but I would have appreciated the knowledge prior to arrival. Our Room 319, was not serviced at all during our stay. Beds were not made, no change in towels, and there was hardly any body soap to use. We had to clean our own coffee cups, and there was not even any cold water in the fridge. Nor a jug to use. One of our pillows was mouldy. When my daughter and I went downstairs to enjoy the sunshine after days of rain, we had no where to sunbathe. With only six plastic recliners, already occupied, our only option were wet bean bags. We ended up lying on the beach. I am a frequent visitor to Mission Beach, and so disappointed in this accomodation. On check out I spoke to the receptionist who was very thoughtful, although I am still waiting for a phone call from the resort manager as requested.
