We had a pleasant stay, it is walkable to a lovely beach. The bathrooms could do with a little updating but the shower was nice. Staff we're friendly. Biggest disadvantage was the fact you had to spend 300 thai bhat one way to get into khao lak its definitely not walkable. On the plus side it was lovely quiet resort with nice food.

Nice quality, slightly older resort, with large pool, great food and good breakfast buffet. Quieter and slightly out of town and the main area, but only 200-400 baht for two people taxi ride to most places. Bike to the beach in 5 minutes. Customer service was super friendly and helpful. We were upgrade by hotel, the room are very good and convenient so i love there facilities in the room as beach towel you can bring there to the beach etc . The hotel location can walk to the beach around 5 mins and you able to walk along the beach to the Memories bar. Breakfast in low season is a la carte in Western and Asian style, there are many choice. The staff are very nice and friendly and helpful. They are so lovely!!! If you are traveling by bus you can drop off at PA-KA-RANG junction and hotel offer the car to pick you up at there! The hotel far for main road around 4 k.m. but hotel offer you a free shuttle bus to pick up at main road! RECOMMENCE!

Good Value for money pleasant hotel and nice pool and hotel surroundingsAlthough near a beach if you need to go to the main part of Khoa Lak its a few miles away but there are enough nice restaurants and beaches nearby including coconut beach but would recommend hiring a motorbike which is only around 200-250 baht (£5) a day General Manager Wuthipong was extremely professional and helpful

Nice quiet clean place but the bed and shower facilities need improving. The shower is over a small bath and you need to take care getting out in case you trip.

Would say its ok. Weve been there in rain season, so not even there but in whole Khao Lak was nothing really to do. Hotel is quite away from anything, maybe three restaurants near by and thats it, otherwise you need to get a taxi to Khao Lak which is around 10km away. Beach near the hotel was really dirty and unswimmible, but again it was raining few times a day. Rooms itself were clean but musty and with a bit of smell, but its quite normal in Thailand, but they were spacious and with nice tarace. Housekeeping was doing a great job, every day cleaning was really detailed. The prosperity needs a little bit of renovation and care. Also checking in was a bit different then usuall, normally if you book with hotels.com you just need to give youre passport and its all good, here we needed to sent the confirmation to reception as they didnt have it, so it took a little bit more time, but still without any problems.

An enjoyable stay at Palm Galleria. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast although simple was more than enough. Beautiful pool! Short walk to the beach near the hotel and and you can use a bicycle (for free) to get to other beaches along the coast. Overall the hotel and grounds could do with general matinience and refurbishment would do the hotel a world of good.

Room was very large and could easily accommodate two adults and two children (ages 11 and 13). Cleaned very well each day. Pool was nice and easy 2 minute walk to beach. Nothing special and given price expected more. Staff were friendly. no issues really.

Please be aware that there's no hot water in the shower and worst still the water comes out murky and yellow and with residue. Rooms with bugs n roaches but what do you expect when u are living in middle of where. Other than that this hotel is a nice stay

The rooms look a little tired, although we saw some rooms being repainted. Grounds seemed a little untidy, mowing only next to the footpaths (not the entire lawn). And the ponds looked dodgy.

I broke a glass in the bathroom and it was never replaced but they tried to charge us for it anyway.O Tne young woman who worked the front desk seemed to try to please the customer but the manager acted as if he could care less. When we complained to him about our room and stated that we were promised a view of the ocean but had a view of a run down cement block wall his reply was, "you booked with Expedia didn't you?" when we replied yes we did. He said, "there is nothing we can do" It was a horrible experience from beginning to end!!

it was just ok. The hotel needs better maintenance though and breakfast was disappointing. Better upkeep would make a huge difference as the location was really great for us, it is more natural than other manicured places we stayed at, but it needs a bit of love!
