Lovely setting but restaurant was closed. Luckily receptionist found us excellent restaurant nearby with very good taxi service there and back.

Great old home that has been updated to be fairly comfortable. Old room with a complete updated bathroom. Bed was a little small and firm, but tolerable for one night. Owner speaks very good English. He is also the chief cook, and prepared a wonderful breakfast buffet (included) consisting of the usual European fare plus make-your-own crepes. Property garden area was pleasant to walk about. This hotel is a bit out of the way, but well worth the trip. It was one of the highlights of our vacation.

Regularly travelling within France, I´m aware of the difficulty to find a good hotel. Cleanliness and overall condition are often an issue. Not here. This is hotel has a very special ambience. The rooms are reasonable large and very clean – at least mine. The service is multi-lingual.
Best was the dinner. Although not ordered a day in advance, as this is recommended by the hotel manager, I could get one. There was no choice for the main course. Nevertheless, it was one of the best menus I ever had. Stéphane did it excellent.
