Amazing location right on the beach. It's a bit far from a major city to be without a vehicle so recommend a car rental if staying in this area. Older building but nicely kept. The food was good but selection was limited. Staff were lovely and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Planamar for the second time. The location is fantastic, right by the beach with beautiful sea views and easy access to the promenade.
Platja d’Aro is such a lovely and charming city with a great atmosphere, nice restaurants, and cozy streets to explore. The hotel is relaxed and the staff is welcoming and sweet. A special thank you for being so kind to our dog — it meant a lot to us and made the stay even better.
Great breakfast and the setting by the sea made the stay extra special.
