We booked one night for its convenient location near the train station and relatively inexpensive rate and weren’t expecting much, however we were pleasantly surprised by everything here, especially the above average breakfast offerings that were included in the nightly stay. We liked it so much that we decided to stay another night.

10 minute walk from train station. Hotel is clean and comfortable; rooms are small but 305 had a small balcony with views of town steeples and courtyard. Showerhead was good (tiny bathroom sink) and the twin bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had many choices of meats and cheeses, cereal and scrambled eggs. Lots of birds around in the trees. A very peaceful stay in a quiet town

We were extremely lucky finding an on street parking space literally outside the hotel. The walk into Lubeck was easy and takes you right past the Tourist Information. Breakfast is in sittings thank goodness as the breakfast area is small but includes everything you could want with loads of choice

It was neither bad nor good. It's a decent place to stay for the night as a stop. The room and hotel are simple and basic. We got there early enough to unwind and get a good night's rest. There is no A/C but there is a tiny desk fan.

The hotel was very nice, clean, calm and with friendly staff. Our double room was big enough with extra sofa for one person, in addition to double bed (it allowed our child to sleep separately). The mattress was very good and orthopedic, linen was also good. With balcony, entering inner yard. We we allowed to park our car for free in the hotel’s garage. The hotel located very conveniently - 5 min by walk to downtown. Breakfast was excellent and reach. Would stay again.

My room was clean, the appearance was adequate, Wi-Fi was good, and I was able to watch the Champions League final on the TV. I stayed in a single room and my only gripe was the shower cubicle was small, and whilst I was able to make do, it would not suit the larger traveller. The Holsten Gate and the rest of Lubecks World Heritage listed Altstadt is a five to ten minute walk away. Having visited Lubeck twice now it's probably unlikely I will return again, however I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again if I were to.

The Baltic was convenient to get into Lubeck (though across the street from the bus depot), and was a good value stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room could use some work. The handle to our bathroom was coming off, and there was a cloth nailed to the skylight to block it, but otherwise the room was fine. Breakfast was the usual spread, we were too late to order anything additional, so cant comment beyond the spread. Overall good value.

I was really impressed by this hotel from the start. Our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until 0100am! They made sure the key was available for us and that was a relief, it was a clean friendly hotel and great value for money. We were within walking distance to Lübeck city centre and the main bus station was opposit the hotel. We I visit again I will use this hotel!

It was a very cozy stay. I arrived after 10pm due to my ferry's timing and had wrote it prior to inform them. The staff arranged for me to do a self check-in and I truly appreciated it. Breakfast was lovely and the staff service were sincere and great! I really liked my room too - came with a fan in case it got too warm.

Be aware that this hotel does not have an elevator. Rooms are on many levels and you need to carry luggage up many stairs. Parking was also limited. If those issues are not a big deal, then I would recommend it. The breakfast was amazing and the innkeeper is very friendly (also he speaks English).
