Near the Beach.

The hotel is in a good location, just opposite the beach. The pool area is lovely and there were always enough loungers. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The waiting and pool staff were lovely, very polite and attentive.
However, I had a major problem with our room. It was absolutely ghastly. It was a superior partial sea view category, but there was nothing superior about it. For a start the air conditioning did not work. We reported to reception but nothing was done about. As a result our room was stifling. At night it was so difficult to sleep. We would leave the balcony door open to let in the cooler night air, but at about 5.00 in the morning delivery lorries started arriving on the road outside and so we were woken very early. Secondly, the wifi didn't work in our room for the entire time we were there. Again we reported it, but nothing was done. We asked for a table on our balcony and were told there wasn't enough room for one, but we found a tatty old table in one of the communal areas and guess what? It fitted fine on our balcony.
The aerial photos on Expedia show a tennis court and this was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. However the court had not been maintained and was out of use as it was unplayable. That is terrible for a 4 star hotel.
Beware of all the extra costs too. If you want a towel for use by the pool it will cost you €4 per person per day. If you want undercover parking it's €10 per night, not that you are told that when you check in
