It is located on one floor of the brownstone type building. We passed it because the sign was the size of a piece of paper. There is no elevator. Keep this in mind if your bags are heavy. Throughout the night, you could hear other guests being buzzed into the common area. There was a shared bathroom available. The en-suite bathroom was new but very tight. Every time you send something down the drain, sink, toilet or shower, you hear loud noises. I’m a light sleeper, because of the tight, you could hear… EVERYTHING! I learned that traveling to Europe is an experience like no other. For the price, extremely close to all the shops, restaurants and attractions. Very close to the train. Less than 10 minute walk.

Room extremely small. The bed occupied the entire room. No AC, No refrigerator in the room, no closet. The bathroom, which is shared by 6 rooms, was awful with sharing bathroom mat, soap, and shower gel.

In general the staff was very kind, the place very clean, in the other hand It is a nightmare to trip with baggage due the rooms are in the 3rd floor, no elevator available, also we had have the need to share bathroom.

This hotel was in the perfect location with an amazing view from our room. This hotel only has about six views. This hotel only has about six rooms and has just an odd set up for the room with the shower being located outside of the bathroom. It wasn’t a huge issue, but just thought I would mention it. Parking was available in parking lot for about €30. This was in a perfect location with everything you can walk nearby and and walking distance. It has a beautiful rooftop to watch the sunset. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly and communicative.

This place confirmed and took my booking at 11:30pm but didn’t open the door. I found out in the confirmation email after being charged, that they close and lock the hotel at 6:30pm and don't accept check-ins later. Why would you accept a booking after you are closed? Charged me and refuse to refund me despite I didn’t stay there and had to book and pay for another hotel. Extremely shady... and they claimed I stayed the night before (which I did not) to justify to Hotels.com why they charged me. STAY AWAY!! Hotels.com is refusing to do anything too. Last trip I’ll use them either and will tell everyone what terrible service I received. BOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

I went to this guest house. first there was no one at the front. so they told me for self check in. the property was located on 2nd floor. i had to open with the key pad combination 2 doors. the property call them brown and green door. there are only total 6 rooms. and 1 bath for this property. we shared thr bathroom. after self checkout with in one hour we left and rented another hotel due to the unsafe. there was a person knocking on the property door. as mentioned there were total 2 doors with the combination lock. so this syranger was knocking the green door (2nd door). and saying open it, open it. and he said, he sleep here. i said if you sleep here you should have your own combination number or a key to access the floor. he continuesely shouting. then he left. after 15 minutes, my wife says lets leave this place. it is very dangerous. so we left and went another hotel. receipt is attached. i would like to request for the refund. thanks

Our stay at Soggiorno La Cupola was wonderful. It was an easy walk from the train station and super close to the amazing Duomo. It was in the perfect location to enjoy all that Florence had to offer. I had excellent communication with he Hotel owner and he was available to help with directions and times to meet. He provided codes and made sure we knew how to get to the location. So helpful. Everyone was friendly and kind and spoke english which helped immensely with communication. Great place and charming.

The hotel is in a fantastic location - especially for the price. The terrace access is a nice touch. The bed was comfy and it wasn’t too noisy despite being on a Main Street. But the bathroom in the room was not great, it leaked, toilet didn’t flush properly, and the shower was tiny. Also there’s no elevator as stated, so you will need to carry your bag up a few flights of stairs. But all in all great stay.

The hotel was located right in the heart of Florence, the Cathedral was less than ten minutes walking, and it had a great roof top terrace where you could bring drinks and food and enjoy the view. The hotel was clean and tidy and our room had a shower but the toilet was shared with about 4 other rooms; we knew this in advance so it was not a problem - it was something we were willing to bear for a budget hotel that was central. Wifi was reliable. One point worth noting: the hotel was located on the second floor and there was no lift so it would not be good for people with limited mobility.

We were looking for somewhere reasonably placed but in the center of the city, and we found it here! The shared bathroom was a bit of an experience, but overall the room was exactly what we needed. The best added bonus was access to the rooftop terrace of the building, which had a lovely view of the Duomo. We brought desert back to the hotel our last night and sat up there for an hour just watching the city and enjoying the view.

We loved the location, the room was comfortable and had plenty space. The bathroom was tiny and made it difficult to shower. Some mornings the water would never heat up. The service was good. You do have to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. But that’s Europe :) The location was perfect! Great location from the train station.

Elevator did not work. Had to carry bags up 4 floors. Room floors dirty. Air conditioning did not work. Tv did not work. Shower water only very hot not cold water. Shower floor slippery. Shower handle broken. Not enough towels. Bathroom dirty. Bed sheets dirty. Fire alarm at 4 am. Noisy street at night. No breakfast. Bad customer service.

The place was great! The only issue was lots of construction in the buidling and around the building. They would start at 7:30 in the morning and it was very loud. But the location and place was again, great! Roof top terrace to sit and enjoy wine with awesome views!
